My one year old will be but in his crib at 8pm to CIO for the first time and put himself to bed. Wish me luck!


Well he went in at 8pm cried a little over 40 minutes ( I went in every 10 minutes) he say in his crib for 15 minutes just staring and finally laid down and went to sleep :) night 1 went good I think!

I don't wish the stupid luck with torturing their children.

However, good luck dealing with future behavioral/psychiatric disorders.

Good luck...every 15 to 20 min go in and rub his back, let him know he's not completely alone. Don't turn on the light or pick him up!

My 19, 13, 10, and 9 year olds have been left to CIO as babies/toddlers. None of them have any type of behavioral/mental disorders.

Thank you! We usually go in every 10 mins letting him know he is ok. I will most likely be sitting in his room with my back turned to him just so he knows I'm there
