It has been really hot here and people are trying to stay cool. My 4 year old daughter looks next door at the kids playing and runs over to the neighbors while they are running through the sprinkler. All three of her kids are naked. No big deal, the two younger kids and 3 and 4, except one of the boys must be closer to 9 or 10 and it looks like he is developing.
I told my daughter she could not play with them and I think the mom was offended and my daughter was crying. I do not need to give her an anatomy lesson. Would you let her play?
I think nine is a bit old to be running around naked so I think it's fair for you to say no play without pants.

well, no, I don't think I would. My daughter is 5 and knows about basic anatomy, but at the same time, she also knows about modesty. I don't think its appropreate to run around naked. Even my 2 yr old wears swim trunks.

Wow... we were just outside playing in the sprinkler and my kids were fully clothed. it was a spur-of-the-moment decision and we just didn't care if our clothes got wet. It's hot here too and the kids were shivering after awhile being in wet clothes. I let them take their clothes off in the garage, but closed the garage door so no one could see. I DO NOT want anyone to have the CHANCE to look at my kids *in that way*. I've looked up sex offenders in the area, and there aren't any for several blocks, but I would not take the chance. 9 or 10 is just waaaay too old to be running around nude. I would say 2 at the latest and even then, not fully nude.
