He also gave me pain pills for my back. If my back is still hurting he is going to have a MRI done. But what I don't understand is I took the pain pill and I can feel it. Pike that high feeling. But its not even touching the pain in my back. I'm still in terrible pain.
So if I can feel the pain pills what is with my back that its not even helping a little bit. I can't stand the pain. I can't sit for long, I can't stand long. I still hurt when laying, but its bearable. I just can't take it. And I have no one to help with the kids because df had to work.
This is why I'd rather suffer with the pain than try to take meds ... they make me feel high but don't even touch the pain so then I hurt and my head is foggy on top of it. I like to use visualization. I know it sounds cheesy but I find it can sometimes take the edge off. I lay on the floor then basically meditate... I close my eyes and imagine my pain (mine looks like a black gooey mess kind of) and imagine it slowly draining from my body into the floor, then through the foundation, then hitting the ground. I push it down like a trees roots and watch it change into water and dissipate into the earth. Sounds weird .. I get it.. but try it. If you can concentrate enough to see it all happen in your head it helps. ...Just a thought.
doesn't UTI's effect the kidneys? has he checked your kidneys out... could be the problem with your back...
I suffer from chronic back pain and I had 2 spinal fusions to help "fix" the problems I was having. I have bad disks and a major nerve was pinched. Since I waited years to have it looked at, I have permanent nerve damage in my lower back on the left side, leg and foot nerve damage as well.
Definately have the MRI done. It coould be something simple or hopefully its not something serious. I know what you mean about the pills. I took heavy duty percoset and felt doped up all the time.....now I'm on an opiate called ultrum.
I hope you find some type of relief soon!
