So we live in the country and today a fed ex guy came to the door and asked if "soso" lived here I said no, and he rambled off some weird 10749 number, our house number is 8086, and he just had a paper. He had on a fed ex shirt and had the fed ex truck but it still freaked me out.

What do you ladies think? Should I call fedex and question it? Or am I being over paranoid? I can't sleep :(

A fedex guy looking for an address freaks you out to the point where you can't sleep?

Wow. Just wow. Your life sounds like hell.

A lot of them use GPS to find the addresses. Rural areas don't get updated on the maps often or are flat out wrong. Mine sent me through the middle of nowhere yesterday to get to Legoland.

Call, people pose as repair guys to break in. That's why I make it a point to let them know I have noticed every detail about them. Every detail, plate number, time, appearance. Here we have the same UPS and FedEx driver the past 4 yrs.

Exactly!! I live in a rural area and my packages are always delivered to the wrong house. If he wanted to harm you, he would have.

Quoting Trisha234:

Paranoid. Why would he go to the trouble if wearing the shirt AND driving the FedEx truck? Addresses are hard to find in the country. If someone wanted to do you harm, they'll just do it. Don't call FedEx because it was probably legitimate.

We just moved her a few months back, so we've never seen if we have reg. Ups/fed ex. Guys yet.

And I've heard about the repair thing which is what raised a red flag...and the numbers were SO off.

But that's what they do, check out the house, then invade later.
