My Dad spent yesterday at the scene of the Aurora shootings

My dad was a police officer in Aurora for 22 years, 10 years ago he retired from the department and started his own private security firm. Because of the magnitude of this shooting they needed all the assistance they could get. My dad is also heavily involved with our church and he and the pastor spent the day comforting victims and witnesses. He was involved in over a dozen shootings when he was an officer but nothing this big and I think this will stay with him forever. By the end if the day he seemed so incredibly drained and saddened by the whole thing. Even though I hate to see him so sad, I am really glad he was able to be there for some of those people.
