So i googled it... placentophagy.. and i guess i can see why a woman would do it.. (the health benifits if they are true) but im just amazed, and shocked.. and frankly could NOT see myself eating what has been holding and protecting my child for 9 months. Holy crap.. i about had a heart attack when i saw this woman eating her placenta on the youtube video after her natural home birth. Could you? Have you? WOW.

I know people who have done this but I drew the line at eating my placenta.
