I have heard some. Like if ur child says dada first ur next will be a boy. Well my child did that I had a girl. And then she said dada and I had another girl.

So what are some of the myths u heard? Did any come true in your case?

Hairy babys give you insane heartburn.

Carrying high is a girl, carrying low is a boy.

Um...gosh their were so many, now I can't remember much of what anyone said! Lol...that's what pregnancy does to your brain though; mush brains. ;)

My son said momma first and I had another boy he said momma first and the baby we lost was a boy too. So I don't think that one works. There are so many out there that we kinda laugh at some of them.

The carrying high/low is one of the funniest ones I've heard! My mom carried me very low and everyone said I was going to be a boy!! She carried my sister very high! I carried my boys high and my DD very low!

One supposed 'myth' that came true with all of my babies is I used the needle on the string. I held the needle above my belly. It went back and forth like a pendulum with my boys and it went around in a circle for DD! I also have a friend who did the same thing for all 6 of her kids. It was correct for all 6!!
