My Dad spent 20 years in prison for Involuntary Manslaughter! The whole story is long, but there were several shooters, who were aiming at the tires on a semi, and a bullet ricocheted and hit the driver in the jugular. It was not my Dad's bullet, and the actual guy whose gun it was got away! He falsely reported the gun stolen before it happened!

There was a guy who overdosed on drugs my father sold to him. He didn't serve for murder, because it wasn't his fault. He did serve for drug possession (among other things) for nine and a half years, though.
And my brother put someone in the hospital for a few days before. The guy didn't wake up until the second day, and my brother spent the night in jail. (they didn't press charges)

Yes. My uncle got into a fight with a man at the park. His brother (my other uncle) shot the dude infront of everyone at the park. He was crazy...killed a few more people while he was on the run. He is now in jail for life.

No... but my husband's cousin is a diabetic, wasn't taking care of his diabetes and blacked-out while driving. He rammed into an elderly couple who had stopped for lunch in a lay-by, and the husband died :( This was all way before I met my husband, though, so I'm not sure about the specifics.
