My daughter says *REALLY* creepy things :(

She's 5. She's a pretty good kid, on the dramatic side, but always cheerful and happy in general. Im pretty firm with her and she obviously cries(dramatically) during time outs etc.

But every time I go to correct her behavior and either send her to time out or simply fix the situation, she starts yelling creepy things at me. like, ''Now i have to hate!'' or
''Im going to have to kill'' or she'll put her hands in her mouth, pulling her jaw down and say, ''Im going to pull it off and ill look like im screaming forever''.

The last creepy thing she said was that she was going to ''Tear all of my skin off until im only a skeleton and chase you around!''

What the Fucking Fuck?

We are normal people who live a normal life. No history of abuse or neglect and Im such a freak about the media my kids are exposed to! She's only ever seen G or pg movies. My other kids are totally freaked out by her. She also has nightmares all the time about ''people with white eyes'' who chase us all and eat everyone. I asked her if she had seen something like in a movie somewhere at a relatives house or something and she said they only live in her dreams.

Because she is otherwise the most charming little girl you'd ever meet(as in everyone stops every where we go to pay attention to her because she talks incessantly and shes so 'cute') and she loves all things pink and frilly and happy, everyone thinks im blowing it out of proportion.
She also ties up her dolls and does creepy things to them.

Is it just an overly imaginative dramatic kid thing?

My son drew a picture of me killed and he said "look mommy, you're dead", all nonchalantly :( it bothered me deeply and I wonder why on earth he would draw such a picture.

Something is going have you tried taking her to a therapist to find out if something is going on that you may not be aware of.

Sounds like she has a great imagination and a flair for the dramatics :)

The skeleton comment made me LOL.

Doesn't sound that bad to me. She probably says those things because she knows you will react to them.

Bump- I am not sure. My kids have never said anything even close to that.

But has she watched like sponge bob or adventure time or anything like that? I know sometimes they have them lose their skin and run around as skeletons or just weird things like what she's saying (it is why we do not watch those shows.)

Maybe she needs more creative outlets.

It may be a phase. Children often say things they don't understand. I personally would take her to therapy just in case.
