My towns electric company is city owned and is the ONLY FUCKING ONE that services this town. And the bastards had a lightening arrestor failure on saturday morning. Entire city in the dark for several hours and the water pressure dropped so low that it back flowed and we had to boil all water. Today while letting someone make repairs who didn't have a clue what they were doing, they re routed power and overloaded the grid. Boom! Another blackout with major surges first. My TV bit the dust.As well as.....dun dun dunnnnn my air conditioner!!
Holy fuck we are hot! Here in west Texas we are lucky if it gets down to 80 at night. So me and the kids are sweating away, can't sleep. And no I can't take them anywhere else since I currently don't have a car. Buses don't run at night here.
Shit, we may just go lay on the tile floor. At least its semi cold.
Rawr. I better get a goddamned credit on my bill for this shit.

Lol!
It was 101 when the AC fried. I walked the kids to the library and we stayed till it closed.
No, no touching! Lol and of course all my baby wants is to comfort nurse and sweat all over me. Hahaha

I'm sorry Momma. Go stick your head in the freezer for a minute! You'll look like you need to be hauled away to the funny farm but it feels SO GOOD!

Lol I just may do that. I didn't have AC as a kid and my grandma would freeze wash rags to put on my neck at bedtime.
