Ok, so my ds is 7 and I found him the other day laying in his bed playing with himself. Is that natural?? Isn't he too young for that? He broke down when I caught him and told him if he needed to do that to shut his door so mommy couldn't see him. I don't want him to think it is wrong but OMG! I didn't need to see that!! lol Dh says that he didn't start doing that till he was a teen so we are scared that someone has "showed" him that it feels good. But before I start jumping to conclusions, I figured I would ask you ladies. What do you think? Any suggestions on how to handle it???

Normal... You handled it remarkably well... Maybe bring it up casually just to remind him it's private and he needs to wash his hands after. Then a segue into goodtouch/bad touch just as a refresher..

My son is 6 but I haven't caught him playing with himself, yet.

My daughter loves her girl parts she will be 2 in Sept.  haha

Totally normal. Just let him know that's an activity to only do in private. You don't want to shame him or make a big deal out of it . . .

Completely normal.

My son is 17ish months and keeps finding his in the tub. He plays with it sometimes and I just let him go. Lol I'm not going to stop him from discovering himself.
