I love my son dearly, he and his sister are the light in my life. However, he's 2.5 and is going to push me to the brink. He yells allthe time, he screams at the top of his lungs. He wants a hug any time his feeligs get hurt, which is generally because HE did something. He's up my ass constantly, my daughter was NEVER like this. He whines about EVERYTHING. He's now climbing out of his crib, which is fine, except that he's waking up 2 hour earlier. He's pretty much done napping, so there is NO break. I kow, he's acting like he's 2, I know you women will rip me apart for venting, so be wicked mature and go ahead.

My daughter who is 2.5 is much the same way.  Everything is drama, drama, drama.  And if she wants something, she will repeat it over and over and over and over. Take something away, and prepare for shreaking, screaming, smacking.   it's a blast.  I know that she is little and still learning to express her emotions, etc, but some days lol.

My son is 3.5 and still does this mess. Luckily he still takes naps so I get a break. He will ask a question, I'll answer, then for the next 10 mins all I hear is " why why why" drives me freaking nuts!

thankfully, he's never been a hitter, but boy, the screech he lets out sounds like he had a limb amputated. And yeah, the repeating makes me want to tape his little mouth. I get tired of looking forward to bedtime, I just want my sweet little imobile, nontalking infant back. (not really because then I'd have to go through all this again)

Humph, no bashing here.  My girls are only 10 mo, but I've got ultrasound pics of them fighting, lol.  One is a shrieker and prone to falling out.  I call her "destract".  The other one moves quietly to do some shit she's really not supposed to be doing.  I call her "destroy".  Funny enough, "You're lucky you're cute" was the phrase I started using years ago for my hubs when he did something to get on my nerves, lol.  I totally understand mama! Sometimes I feel like I'm just gritting my teeth waiting for them to start forming complete sentences and stop hollering at me.

Right there with ya momma! Those screams/tantrums are enough to make any momma go crazy! My 2.5 yr old DD is going through a lovely phase right now that includes screaming at me or her brothers constantly. Shit the wind blows the wrong way and all hell breaks loose. It is very frustrating but I just keep telling her "use your words" over and over....hopefully it'll pass quickly lmao.
