I have a protein shake everyday per my doctors orders. I order a yummy protein powder online! I love it and helps me stay healthy.where do you buy them at?
a very good one I use when I'm on the go.
I don't drink protein shakes. I prefer to get my protein from whole food sources- even after intense workouts. There is really no need for protein shakes when you can get more protein from a piece of grilled chicken or natural peanut butter after a workout than a processed powder made into a shake IMO.

This is very true, protein from whole foods is far superior to protein shakes but for athletes and weightlifters who need 1.5 to 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight getting enough protein from whole foods and staying in a good calorie range is almost impossible.

I'm a long distance runner and I have no problem at all...I am able to stay within 1500-1800 calories daily and get up to 200 grams of protein from whole food sources. I do not use shakes of any kind since they are processed powders. It can be done, but shakes are convenient for people.
