A coworker who doesn't know we're infertile said at lunch today out of the blue when discussioning her sister's ivf that she feels anyone who can't get pregnant naturally is too dumb to know how to have sex or isn't good enough to be a parent and wasn't meant to have their genes continue on. Do you agree? Do you think you are better than someone if they are infertile. I was devastated

That's messed up. We have been ttc #2 for almost 2 years. I feel unwomanly as it is. I already feel like my body is failing me so I wouldn't need someone thinking they are better than me bc they can get pregnant. I already feel like that. Sorry, OP. That was cruel of your friend to say whether she knew or not. No one should ever be up on a high horse when it comes to pregnancy.

That is terrible. With Saylor we were pregnant the first try, but I never felt superior. I suppose if anything I felt lucky. With this one it took us about 2 years to get pregnant. The only thing that had changed was my fertility. Your coworker is not too bright.
