And eat it on your first anniversary
Ours is saved but it's only been 3 1/2 months so haven't eaten it yet.
The place where we bought our cake has a policy where on your 1st, 5th, 10th, 15, 20th anniversary and so on they remake the top for you for free!
Even though they do that I wanted to be traditional and save the top for our first year as well.
I googled how to wrap and store it but if it is nasty at least we get the free one. :)
we saved ours! we didn't eat it all our 1st ann. just a bite. We still have it! I tell hubby all the time we can threw it out,but he won't. He said we will never eat it,but will keep it.
