Who says I dont have money? we each have our own money. After we pay bills and put money in savings we split the disposable income. My worth in the home and my contribution is no less than his.
do you have no money because your broke, get a job.... if you have no money because he wont give it to you get a new husband........ i am a sahm and we dont have those issues our bills are paid, and i have access to all of our money.
Quoting elephantmamaof2:K. Since every bodies getting on your case lol.
Do you mean how do you get him something without it feeling like you're just using his money to buy his own gift? If its possible, I take a few bucks out each week leading up to his bday so it feels more like "my" money. Have you ever heard of swag bucks? You get points for using their search engine and you cash them in for things like amazon gift cards. I usually get at least $10-15 a month and save them up until dh birthday. You can get virtually anything on amazon. Maybe you could do a day or 2 of babysitting to get some cash to get him something? There are often codes available for free photo books, those make great gifts! And then there's always the good backup of a handmade gift!!
Like others said, it is our money so it's not really an issue... but he also knows when, how how much is taken out, and where I spent it. So, to keep gifts a complete surprise, I earn money through places like Swagbucks. I get Amazon, Walmart and Paypal gift cards ($50-$75 a month right now) and use those to buy his gifts for birthdays and holidays.
Quoting Anonymous:I can use OUR money and buy him things. Just because he works doesn't make it just his money. We are a team. I couldn't live with a selfish man who thinks he has 100% control over money.
all our accounts are joint, so its not an issue for me. Its OUR money.
He doesn't like getting things for his birthday. I get him something every year. He would be perfectly happy with nothing
