Police: Mom left kids in truck while she went inside Mons Venus strip club

Tampa, Florida -- Police say a mother left her two young children alone inside her pickup truck while she entered the Mons Venus strip club.
A witness notified police Tuesday evening, who found a 5-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl in the Ford F-150 unattended. Officers found a can of malt liquor in plain view inside the truck.
Officers went inside the club and found 28-year-old Brandi Jo Roman sitting down, near a stage. Roman's speech was reportedly slurred and she appeared to be intoxicated.
Roman allegedly told police she went in the club to drink more alcohol, and she left the children inside the truck watching a movie.
She was arrested on two counts of child neglect. The Department of Children and Families took the children into custody.

Wow, what a lazy and horrible parent... Glad the kids didn't over-heat.

So sad.. :( Reminds me of DH's Mum. When he was 3 weeks old, she left him in the car while she went to the casino in FEBRUARY (gets to -40 and -45 here in Feb). Social Services took him away for the first time that night.
OMG that's horrible :( . We had a guy just a couple of winters ago (we're in Upstate NY) leave his ten month old in the car to go into the casino, he was in there like 3 hours...his family including the babies mother were all trying to stick up for him, saying he just went in for a minute..etc. smh

Yeah I believe it was just under an hour that she was in there before Social Services got there and took him. The worst part is he was returned home a month later. He was always returned home :(
