Is "dot or feather" offensive?

Like when someone says someone is Indian... is it offensive to ask "dot or feather"?  It's much more efficient than saying "Indian from India or Native American?".

You want to say something potentially offensive to save yourself from having to utter a few extra syllables? Smh

Yes, but where I'm from, it's "Casino or Dairy Queen".

It would help if we stopped saying Indian for native Americans since its long been known Christopher Columbus's raping pillaging ass was wrong.

I'm laughing so hard. But yes it's a little offensive (to some).
