Do you think that the Internet "opens" the door for cheating spouses??

This was a question that was brought up at work during lunch break. We all, of course, had our own opinions which mostly led to the answer of YES.

What do you think? No bashing other responses.

I think it definitely makes it easier to do, but if they are going to cheat, they'll do it with or without technology.

no, I don't think someone needs the internet to cheat. If they want to and that is who they are, they will find a way.

No cheating can happen with the next door neighbours if your going to cheat your going to do it without help

Does it make it easier? For some, yes. But cheating happened long before the internet. It's silly to blame the internet for adultery.

Yes I do believe the internet makes it extremely easy to cheat. With the easy access to so many ppl and the option of being anonymous all adding to the fantasy leading to (if anything) a higher incidence of emotional cheating which is the beginning for a physical affair. It is however not the only reason, if someone wants to have an affair they will find a way.
