Does butter go bad after the expiration date? Getting ready to make cookies and it says it expired July 5. Is is ok?

Hmmm I'm not sure since it IS dairy.....I probably wouldn't use it unless it had been frozen

We always freeze butter.... I didn't even know it had an expiration date.
You'll be baking the cookies so I think you would be fine.
