Would a hospital still have my prenatal records from 2003? hosptials dont throw records out do they?
There are laws on how long they have to hold it.
I can't remember its been forever since I had to pull records or even know laws.
But I would believe so I think its a minimum of 10 years.
I'm sure they do. My ped (from when I was a kid) still had my files when we needed them to compare notes for DD...that was nearly 30 years ago.

depends on the state. Here in GA they hold on to records for 10 years then they get shredded.
They would be computerized and you can request them anytime you want.
thank you ladies! i hope they still do have them. i dont have my US pics or paper work from when ayla was born, and with everything going on now, i think it would be good to at least have some of it.
