Hopefully, this will be the last time I try to stay with him for the sake of our child because I refuse to let her be raised by an alcoholic.

I wish my mother would have left my alcoholic father when I was little. It's not something you want to raise your child around.

I hope you find the strength to do this on your own. It's not going to be easy. I really wish you the best.

I'm sorry you had to go through that, but good for you for leaving this person, your child doesn't need to be around that and neither do you.

Good for you. I know it has to be hard. Keep your head up.

Alcoholism is just one of the reasons I left my ex.

It's hard. And it's scary. But you will make it through. And you will find happiness.

I am sorry. Hopefully this will give him incentive to change. I left my ex because he was a drunk and I worried about him for a long time and felt guilty because he just continued to destroy his life. Then I would remind myself that he never worried about me. Fortunately we didn't have kids so he is out of my life completely now. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. You seem like a strong person, though, and being there for your child will give you strength. Good luck!
