My son, he is 2 years old, he is a nightmare!

professionals suspect autism

I suspected autism

but now

I DONT KNOW HONESTLY

HE IS UNCONTROLABLE!!!!!!!!

Hes responisve (somewhat)

he has alot of the signs of autism

but hes crazy! (literally not being mean about how i say it just stating facts)

what use to be stimming (for those who don't know repetitive behaviors such as spinning, hand/arm flapping ect ect ect) are now full body spasms

he constantly yells!

beyond defiant

no punishment works

constant moving wont sit down

screams constantly

hits himself

runs from us if we come towards him

nothing works AT ALL

he has such abnormal responses to everything

no matter how mad we are he just laughs and laughs and screams and crys and laughs and yells and runs and stims and hits himself

we can call him to us for a hug or kiss and he will run and scream and repeat all of the above

the past 2 days have been the worst

a house full of 20 kids under the age of 3 would not be as hectic and as hard to control as this one little boy is.

he is the cutest little boy, and when hes sleeping hes perfect, he melts my heart

but when he is awake its pure utter chaos.

ive done tons of reasearch on autism

im a member of autism groups

but seriously, in all honesty.

Autism cannot be this bad!

( and no as of this moment we have no anwsers and we are in the process of getting anwsers but he is much better for strangers so they dont see what we see, and YES I VIDEO EVERYTHING)

its so hard to get people to understand or believe me and my fiance because i swear no one thinks this handsome little boy can be so bad!

So I'm wondering...how the hell did you get ahold of my son?? I swear to God you just described him to a T (down to the "full sippy cup" thing, I thought that was just him!). Bravo for telling anon where to shove it, remember, 99.9% of us are on your side!!

Whatever. Autism is so overdiagnosed. Oh my God, my kid screams, it must be Autism. Oh my God my kid doesn't listen to me, must be Autism.

Are there legit cases sure.

did your child regress (develope perfectly untill 21 months ) and then lose pretty much all his skills?

does your child have to put everything in his mouth?

does your child not play with toys at all except for cars which he only lines up?

does you child hit himself over and over agian in the head chest and legs while laughing for no reason?

does your child cry when reaching down to pick up a sippy cup

does your child scream bloody murder if his sippy cup isnt 100% full?

do your child have to be on pediasure because he wont eat for days on end?

does your child scream if you touch him at all?

does your child not say more than a few words when he use to know 50-100 but now has forgotten them?

did your child know how to use the potty then completely forget how to even control his bladder?

do you feel like your on top of the world if you get a rare quick hug or kiss?

do you feel overly happy if you hear your child say something spontaniously?

do you have to fight your child tooth and nail just to get dressed or diaper changed?

no i didnt think so

so shut the fuck up.

Can you believe it? That someone- presumably a mother would actually make those comments and think it's FUNNY? It's just astounding and disgusting. You are too good of a person to even sink low enough to even respond to scum like that. (((HUGS)))

I am not giving a dx. I am simply stating that the behaviors listed by the OP about her son are red flags of something that is more than likely quite serious and that he needs to be evaluated by a professional.

Unlike you, I am trying to be supportive of a mother who is obviously in need of some advice.

At first I didn't like ur response but as I read ur legit cases that is my grandson . He regressed lost his few words . No one said anything at first but it was obviously is was way behind his peers. He's almost 4 and is at about a almost 2 year old . School helps out a lot. I worry for he's future they say you learn language up until your five so this next year in a half is critical. I just want the best life for him . My daughter is a single mother and I admire her strength she's
a young mother also . It took us almost a year to get his dx . We kneww in our heart of hearts that he did but it still hit hard . Who wants there child to have autism . Lots of things are over diagnosis such as antibiotics...
