One of my breasts is a little swollen and tender...

Okay.. I am wondering if I should make an appointment for my OBGYN to have a look.  Last month I was concered that I felt a lump in my breast (same one) and after doing some research I decided to wait till I get my period to see if it went away.  Well I guess it did because I don't remember thinking about it after that.  Now I am getting that feeling again and my period isn't due until around the 16th (which last month it was 2 whole days early, I am slightly irregular) but I don't remember how long before my period last month did I get that feeling.  It has been feeling like this for a few days now and today it feels like the most tender of days.  Should I wait again for my period or should I make an appointment just in case?  Has anyone ever experienced this?  Honestly I don't know how soon I would even be able to get in to my dr, I have only been to this office once before.  Oh and I am 25 (almost 26) years old, I have two children (that I breastfed if that matters), no history of breast cancer or anything breast related that I know of and since having kids and losing weight recently my breasts are really nothing more than bags a skin.  Seriously when I lay on my back it looks like I am no breasts at all, it is quite sad!  Thank you for reading!
