Is a playtoy considered cheating? smh dh thinks so

Ok we have been together for 8 years, we have a ok sex life (depending on his stress level, new job promotion = later hours). Well, he works out of town anywhere from 1week- 2months at a time, 6 hours away. So I decided to get something to help me while he's gone, he told me its the same as cheating on him. Even though I already have one other toy that he loves to use on me anyways. It's just a 6inch fleshlike dildo, not some 12inch monster (that I gapped at in horror when I saw in the store LOL). I don't get why he's so upset about it, he is not big on communication which causes a lot of our arguements when we do have them. Another thing is is that I am 24 and he is 36, my libido is still pretty high and his is getting down to once a week if that :/. I love him though.
I would never cheat on him, I just don't consider a playtoy cheating.
No it's a toy.Just tell him you imagine it's him and and that's it.
You and I are in the same boat. I'm 25, DF is 38. I want to have sex every night, all night, and again in the morning...he's content with once a week on a good week. We used to do it like rabbits but his job has become more demanding and the stress has gotten to him. I have toys and he knows...I'm also 36 weeks pregnant so it's really hard for us to find a position LOL. It's not cheating, but if it interferes with your relationship, maybe you need to address his concerns and insecurities.

He sounds really insecure. Down to once a week and he is away that often? Thats odd to me. Has he had his hormones tested?
Unless the playtoy is a living breathing man.....nope not cheating.
I don't consider masturbation to be a form of cheating.
Tell him to quit being so insecure and handle what you got to handle.
