So... some of you know that FB can be very painful for someone strugging with infertility, or someone not married w/out kids, someone whos kids died, etc etc etc...

There's now a new ap where any baby pic on your Facebook feed will be switched with a  pic of a cat! (or any pic you want)I think its hiarious!

Well I think that is funny but stupid. People can't hide from kids forever..sometimes you just have to let it go.

Is your friends name Paige? I have a friend who does that. Somedays she posts every meal he eats, and his fab Lego creation. 4 pics a day of your child is a bit much! I couldn't care less that your child loves _______. kwim?

I don't think its stupid. THink about someone who has had 3 miscarriages and a hysteroctomy and no kids, when she comes  home - in her OWN PRIVATE HOME - she wants to avoid being hurt all over again - but she doesn't want to stay off of Facebook completely - so everytime a friend posts a pic of a kid she sees a funny pic like this!

I think its great actually!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to agree with this.  It's not like a kid in the street can be turned into a cat as you walk by.

You can't buffer yourself from reality in every situation. I am overly sensitive to peoples feelings but this is just a bit much.

It's no different that someone who doesn't hang up Christimas cards with kids photos on her fridge.

I'm on an infertiilty board (used to have infertility, now I have 2 kds) and alot of moms just throw out the Christmas photo cards with just kids on them, but post the ones without kids on their fridge, or the ones that at elast include the parents to.

They have a choice which pics they wnat to hang up in their own PRIVATE HOME

Welll int  heir own PRIVATE HOME they know have a choice of which photos they see on Facebook!

Yes, of course they can't hide forever. THis is only Facebook nnot real life lol
