"fuckin" In front of you and your kids? This happened to me, one of my employees said it in front of a parent....... Then she proceeded to say friggin about 5 times to cover it up. I flat out ignored it until the paret left.... Then I told her she Ned's to be a lot more careful. What would you have done if you were the parent

I didnt, I told her don't let it happen again. It was a genuine slip up I've worked with her for a month now and i she's fine. I curse to, but I watch myself at work.

slips out sometimes, I don't think you should make a big deal of it.

if it was a slip i would let it slide if she continued to say friggin i would let her know i think that is inappropriate too BUT i would also tell the director. i know it is hard to watch your mouth at work...i was at work sunday and i said fuck in front of a resident....i tried to cover it up quick and said shit now i was all red and just apologized.

I would tell her to go wash her mouth out with soap.

I would have laughed, and said, dude... you're going to have to be more careful. But my fdirst reaction would've been to laugh. Shit, we're all human, we all fuck up so to speak! Just because she takes care of kids doesn't mean she becomes a nun at the mouth.

It would depend on what was happening.  If she dropped something and said it, I would be concerned about how well she could control herself in a stressful room situation.  But, at most I'd mention it to her boss so the boss can look out for any potential problems.

If she said it when she and I were talking casually, I'd let it slide.  Slip ups happen!  If it was a regular thing, again, I'd simply mention it to whoever was in charge so they could monitor things.

If I were the parent, I would want the provider to assure me that you do not tolerate that type of language. It's unacceptable to do this in front of children and parents. I would want to make sure it was handled appropriately and brought to the employee's attention that it is not allowed.

Wow... it probly slipped out. You addressed her afterwords, that's all you should do. She knew it was a slip because she tried to cover it.

If it happens again then do something. But it sounds like just a slip up.

I wouldn't do anything if it was a one time deal, if she constantly cusses i would have a talk with the director.

My kids know better than to swear,so I wouldnt be too worried about a slip in front of them,my kids would probably try to punish the teacher though for swearing.:/
