Your husband leaves his job early because he doesn't feel good.  That is a child's response, not a man's response and certainly not the response of a man with a family.  I have worked many times while feeling incredibly bad, he's making a horribly irresponsible choice.

I am sorry that he is putting so much on you.  It's not fair for you to feel like you are supporting the family without help.  What can you do today, even if it's small, to help your situation or the way you are feeling?

Tell your husband to grow some balls and work hard for his family! Thats ridiculous of him!

If you need, buy gas anyway, we've lived off of 10$ for a week before. It can work.

My poor SO stays at work no matter what (he'll go puke and get right back to it). Unless our daughter needs him. Then he thinks he's a speed racer trying to get to her.lol.

Joe does the same thing... The army doesnt let you go home early unless you're dying or puking up your brains.... And he doesnt get paid overtime when he stays late by 2 hours.

Hate to say it, but I agree...it's no fun working when you're sick but sometimes you just have to. I worked through 34 weeks of the most ridiculous morning sickness ever. I threw up in barf bags in my car, puked in the bathroom in my office, had to run away from the phones when helping reception, but I needed the money (and more importantly the insurance) so I had to suck it up and work.

I mean I got my wisdom tooth pulled when I was 5 1/2 months pregnant and went to work the next day. We don't live in town we live in a smaller 15min away from the big town. His response is a childish response but he doesn't see it that way.

*Hugs* I don't know what to tell you. Well, other than that you need to have a serious talk with your husband about your concerns and let him know that you two cannot afford for him to lose his job.
