Why would it be selfish? If it's her choice she has a right to live her life in happiness. No one should be miserable for someone else. I understand as a parent we make a lot of sacrifices, but staying with someone you do not love isn't one of them IMO. Nor is it healthy to marry just so the kids can have a father figure.
