Holmes is pulling the mentally ill card. Fuck that that mother fucker new what he was doing. Just kill his ass already. Problem solved. But make sure you torture him first and let him feel the pain he has bestowed on the poor people of Colorado. And save the tax payers money from having to pay for the space he is breathing in and the cost of a trail.

Your right, usually people with mental illness do not put this much thought into things..

Usually it is the spure of a moment type deal. But who knows maybe he went off his meds and who knows what meds or what he was seeing a pshyc for.

he may not be able to get by with the INSANITY defense being he pre planned it. Insanity under the law means to lose your sanity usually to a tramatic event that just occured.

Being mentally ill isn't an "excuse." and it certainly doesn't mean that he just walks away from the charges either. If the court determines that he's unable to aid and assist because he's not competent, then he stays int he state mental hospital until he's stable. trust me when i say- prison is probably a better place. And if he's found guilty but insane? same thing- off to the state hospital. People seem to think that the mentally ill just "get off." nothing could be further from the truth.
