I live in an apartment and three weeks ago I put in an work order for some things around the house. They came in and realized they needed to order parts and they would come back in a day or two to fix the problems.

Friday last week I finally called because they never came and they said they would come either mon or tues

They called me Tuesday and said they would come Wednesday.

Then they called me Wednesday and said they would come Friday.

Yesterday I decided to go out of town till Sunday so I called 5 times to try to get ahold of someone to cancel Friday and eventually I just left a message telling them not to come Friday but to wait to monday or Tuesday.

I go to work today and get home to pack so I can leave tonight and they had come And replaced the garbage disposal.....even after I said not to come into my apartment.

They haven't fixed the blinds but the ladder and blinds are sitting outside my door so they do plan on coming in later today but I'm planning to leave in about 30 minutes and I don't want them in my apartment.

I have two cats, one who's an escape artist and I'd be devestated to come home Sunday and she got out and was missing.

I've tried calling the office several times and no one answers.

I'm beyond fustrated and I don't know what to do. I don't want them here when im going out of town for the weekend in case they forget to lock the door or let the cat out.

Yes and it's locked with a sign that says they will be back at 1. It's 330 and it's still locked.

Have you tried actually going *in* to the office?

Is it a complex?  If so they most likely have a property management company and I would go through them.  It's really all you can do unless you change the locks but then you risk fees that would be attached to that.

Since you live in an apartment they (the management company and maintenance workers) have every right to come into your apartment to make repairs.

I would check your lease, but every apartment I have lived in says in the lease that management and/or maintenance can enter the apartment without consent.
