TBH, I'm kinda proud of her for telling off her Teacher!
My SIL just came over. I get a call from her mom telling me she needs to come back home because her teacher just called. Apparently my SIL had a sub in her SAT prep class who who she told out. I was told by her mom that she was written up and Monday morning they will sit down with the teacher, sub, and principal to decide if she will get suspended. As of now she will be in ISS for the next 5 days. I'm being told completely different sides of the story.
My SIL side: She says she finished her pre test and was talking to a group of her friends. The sub looks at her directly and says you need to quite down. She says at the time she wasn't even talk nor had she been for a few minutes. She said he kept going on and on about how she must have been guilty. She shrugged him off in efforts to stay respectful yet end the agitating conversation. He returned to chastising her moments later. When she ask him to please just let it go he continued. She told him again to please stop because it was upsetting her and he continued. After about 7 minutes of his constant banter she told him what a child he was being, to leave her alone, ect. She admits to yelling and going off on him.
School's side (from what I was told by mom): She was told to quite down and refused. After the sub told her again she cussed him and was sent out of the room. She was later written up after her actual teacher came to pick up their work and saw the note he left.
IDK I just really don't believe it happened the school's way. She is a typical teenager who will catch an attitude but Ive never seen her blow up and be disrespectful. Normally if she and her mother start at it she will just ignore it and shut completely down. He must have agitated her and instigated it for her to snap like that. She's just not one to be THAT rude when it's uncalled for. Her parent's just dont play that. If he was really being a dick to her, he deserved every bit of it. People only deserve the respect they give.
