If a post disappears, what is the point in someone starting a new post about it disappearing? Most people do not even know what the hell the post is that the OP is talking about. I just don't get it. Why start a post talking about another that no longer exists, especially if you are not going to say which one you are talking about?

I kind of like the spin off of poof posts, it's usually the only way I know the gist of what happened in a good post, because I don't read long posts. You can pretty much tell a few comments in what the poof post was about.
