Because everyone bitches about Mexicans being the cause of the immigration problem, when 9 times out of 10 those of you with housekeepers and nannies have hired these same people to work in your homes.

Apples and oranges there. Immigration without proper paperwork is illegal now and wasn't then. You cannot compare issues pre civilwar to issues now. It shows your ignorance of the political and social climate of 21st century America. A valid argument about illegals is that they are ILLEGAL. If you break the law you are punished. Simple as that.
