I never dropped and went into labor at 40w2d and I was told I had no progress at my 40w check up.

Walking can help get the baby to drop.  Sitting on an exercise ball can also as it opens up the hips more giving baby room to drop into place.  Hang in there...you are almost done.

you're only 38 weeks, mama! I would be concerned if I were you and I was 41 weeks. You're not even technically full term yet to the new ACOG recommendations.

Wow. My dr said when she checked me I haven't even started to dilate or open. I have tried everything I can think of that's safe and non harmful towards me or baby.

Baby is just cooking for a bit longer.  I know you are getting tired and anxious to hold it in your arms.  Get as much rest as you possibly can now as there won't be much when baby gets here.  Keep trying the sex thing...if it's going to help it may take several times to get you going.

When we done the u/s my dr said I was fullterm and he was developed on track and everything. She said I could start trying different ways as long as they weren't over doing it and harmful. It isn't like I'm drinkin castor oil or all the other crazy non sense. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow.

Yeah. It was wild. I woke up on the 7th of June in 2009 and 6AM and I didn't "Feel right". So, I went to the bathroom went pee, and then I saw I lost some of my mucous plug.  No big deal, right? It can take WEEKS to go into labor with just starting to lose your mucous plug. So, after that..I tried to go back to bed, get some rest. Got up a few minutes later, lost more mucous plug...two hours later I was at the hospitial at 6 cm a stretchy 6 - almost 7. It only took me four hours all together to go from nothing at 40 weeks and two days later it was on! I wouldn't give up hope!
