What would you expect out of a 15 year old Mom...update

that has a son clinging to life in the hospital with a hear disease?

I was just on fb and someone posted her website and I went to her fb.

Long story short, someone that donated money to the family to help with the little boys surgery, and to get their house ready for him to come home on, seen that the 15 year old Mom got her belly button pierced within 2 hours of her sons heart stopping (thankfully they got it going again) and that she hasnt gone to see her son in the hospital in 2 weeks. My friend was defending the 15 year old Mom, but Im furious. I dont care how old she is, someone needs to make her sign her rights or BE there for that baby. My heart is split into pieces trying to imagine this sick baby in the hospital and NO ONE by his side. He maybe a baby, but he knows whether or not his mommy is there. :(

UPDATE on baby Jace

They decided last night to removehim from life support at some point today.  Im not sure at which point, but I am told his Dads side of the family has been there for the last 3 days. I am being told that his mother is updating her facebook status saying he has already passed away, but she isnt at the hospital, still, so its really weird.  Praying for a miracle that little Jayce can survive off of life support, but its not looking good.

Lol *many* young mothers are NOT like that.

It isn't based on age.

Not all young mothers are horrible moms. There are many older moms that shouldn't even be allowed to have children.

Well, I would expect a fifteen year old with a baby to act like a fifteen year old. It doesn't excuse her behavior, but that's how many young mothers are.

Aww poor baby, i would hope that she'd be there with her baby. It really wouldn't matter her age, for me when I had lovin he was in the nicu, we stayed at the hospital with him until the day he was released. Some just never grow up they'd rather so them than be moms. It sad.

I don't think it's fair to judge all teen mothers by a few. She might not fully understand her situation...she's 15 she might not have the means of getting there without a parent who should be stepping in

My mom had me a fifteen.  I was in NICU for seven days following my birth, she was there every minute possible.  Fifteen is no excuse for being heartless.
