I know I'll get bashed but I really dont care.

I recently moved and quit my job, I was a SAHM for a bout 3.5yrs starting when our oldest son was born. I went to work because I wanted to and needed outside interaction. Both our kids(4 and 2) have greatly benifited from daycare.

I AM getting another job in the same field, just not right away. We can aford to have me be at home for a bit.

Its only been 5 days and omg this is SO MUCH easier than before I went to work. Seriously, its not difficult to keep a house clean, play with my kids, spend some internet time, make dinner and relax with DH when he gets home. We go to the park, we play in the yard, I get to nap too!! the only reason I ever bitched before was because I didnt have a car.

Going to work made this seem like a freaking cake walk vaction.

:) I agree. I was a SAHM for years and would love to be again!! I remember it being hard then because I was 23, had 3 children in diapers, had PPD, was unhappy with my cheating and worthless husband, wanted to go back to school and we only had 1 vehicle so I was home ALLLLL day alone...with 3 kids in diapers (did I mention I had 3 kids in diapers?).

I think that I will like it more when my kids are older.

I agree. I stayed home when the boys were little then went back to work when my youngest was in pre-school. Last summer I quit my job and it was ridiculously easy. My boyfriend lost his job shortly after I quit so I got my job back but it was so nice when I was home.

I stayed home when I was pregnant (well, maternity leave) and until dd was 4 weeks old. I hated it. It was boring. Now that I'm back at work, I'm wishing for vacation but I couldn't be a SAHM. Not for me.

It all depends on how you do it, or how you look at parenting. Parenting can be a piece of cake, but for me, I wouldn't feel I was doing it right if I wasn't exhausted at the end of the day.
