Wooohoooo ! im so happy !! I have been waiting years for this to finally pass ! Please correct me if im wrong but doesn't the usa grant citizenship to Cubans who come here illegally ??? so why is this any different? if im wrong then sorry but i thought that was the case for cubans that leave .

i dont consider my mom a criminal she escaped my abusive father with 3 little kids, she had to do what she had to do in order to protect us.

Unfortunately, if she came into the US illegally, she is/was a criminal. She broke the law, no matter her reasonings for it.

Will a homeless person be excused for stealing food because they had to do what they had to do to survive? No.
