spent $129.00 at thrift store today for three huge bags of clothes etc...

got my son a pair of ralph lauren polo jeans and 2 others, my husband 5 pairs of works jeans (wrangler, lee, old navy, etc), got myself 5 pairs of capris, 3 tops, a donna sharp purse (my sister said it would have been about a $70 purse at the store, she makes quilts and things i think), a pair of pajamas and  2 fitted sheets...no shame in my game! washing it all right now, when it comes out it'll be just as good as new....anybody else visit 2nd hand stores and are thrifty?

I do sometimes. I've found quite a bit of clothes with tags still on them and I went into a thrift store one day and found a pair of Nike's for my oldest that were still in the box and never been worn and only paid $15 for them.

I love thrift stores. I got my dd nearly all of the disney movies on vhs at thrift stores for about a dollar a piece.

 I love the Salvation Army store.  Especially for things you don't want to spend a fortune on but that you need.
