Do YOU decorate your home? ETA!!!*

My home is decorated. When people come over, (like the man from Comcast today) I always get "oh this is very nice home! So nicely decorated.."

We don't live in a huge home, but didn't matter where we lived, our home was nicely decorated

I'm always surprised and grateful for the compliments of course, but it boggles me why people are so shocked when they come into our home..

I mean, do any of you decorate your home, or do you just have a home for comfort?

FYI: if your on a budget for nice home items, HOMEGOODS always has a nice clearance aisle, Target, Big Lots, Kirklands, The Family Dollar ( YES, the family dollar), Bells, Marshals, TJ Maxx, Ross, Tuesday Morning, and Stein Mart, all have great deals!

also ladies!! You get a LOT of ideas from pinterest, HGTV.com, and Google pictures!! Lol!! Seriously! Just type in what you're looking for.. Say "traditional living room" and click pictures(Google) Wa la! Lots of nice ideas!!! (:

Yep, it's one of my favorite things to do! And I feel the same as you. We rent our home, and when our landlord came over once, she was in awe. She even took a couple of photos on her phone to show her friend how nice I have it fixed up, lol. :)

Decorating is an artform that I soooo do NOT have!! I have family pictures on the wall and I've managed to make sure the pillows and curtains match. That's about it for me. lol!

Lol! My landlord did the same! He took photos of the house, then used them for his listing, and not good for us, cause the house got sold! Lol!!

My children's rooms practically look like a Martha Stewart Magazine, BUT the rest of my house, not so much, never in the budget, I really want & need paint, rugs & new furniture. A bunch of decorations from target, won't hide that, lol.

Thanks love...I do decorating homes as a side job but my primary job is driving forklifts for lowes distribution center and I love it. been doing it for years...
