My lo is 15 months old and whenever she reaches 20 pounds I have every intention on turning her ff! I've done my research I know it's safer it's just a decision that's best for my family! So bash away

She will be 2 if not older by the time she hits 20 pounds. So she is erf Because it is safer 20 pounds is our goal by age 2. We intend on ff at 2 she is long little booger

Very tiny, at least to me. Lol. Both of my kids hit the 20lb. mark before a year. DD is 16 months and almost, if not 30lbs.

P.S. Your kid, your choice. Idc.

Quoting tessamalk:

She's 15 mo and not 20 lbs yet? I'm surprised; DD is 14 mo and was 21 lbs 15 oz at her 12 mo check-up... and she's only considered 50th percentile for weight.

Your LO must be a teeny little thing!

Awesome, I see you did the research and still don't care. I get not everyone knows to keep kids rf until 2 yrs but I have no clue why anyone who knew the risks wouldn't rf. But hey its your kids spinal cord at risk, not mine

I agree with you 100%!!!!! The attempt at justification is an epic fail! She feels guilty and is trying to make herself feel better for such a senseless decision!

Quoting HoneyPlum:

Logic fail. Just because you want to justify your shitty decision doesn't make it safer. Your personal parenting decision doesn't trump the laws of physics. Nice try, though.

Just so everyone knows there is a new law that says 2 years is Rear Facing now. I read it on www.car-seat.org and another website. Some parents are a huge big fat FAIL
