PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE as you are driving down the road, watch for trash trucks and the workers on them. My very good friends husband was hit yesterday while working on a trash truck. He has two compund fractures in his leg, one in his arm, one of the ring finger, a clean broke pinky, three broke toes, a severe concussion, a fracture of the C6 vertebre, and road rash over 75% of his body. He was the bread winner for his wife, 4 year old ds and they had just begun ttc for their 2nd. There ENTIRE life has changed because someone wasn't paying attention. PLEASE watch out. If you see a trash truck slow down and give them room. These people do you a service and work hard in a dirty and thankless job. And any prayers/good thoughts for this family would be appreciated.
Thank you. Its terrible. He was just working to support them and now all this. Thankfully he works for a great company that is taking care of them.

Oh wow! I'm very sorry. They should have special laws and fines in place for workers like that that they have for highway construction workers and school buses.
