Why Do Some People Write Like This?

I mean why do some of you capitalize every word in a sentence.  Example:    I Went To The Mall And Bought Some Clothes.    It drives me insane.   You are only supposed to capitalize the first letter of the first word in a Sentence unless its  you put in I or a persons name

I see people write a sentence and they capitalize every word.  It is just one of my pet peeves.

Some people on mobile, the phone does it automatically. I know that because my sisters phone does it.

its an affectation. i try to not be so uptight that someones grammer, punctuation or affectations even register on my radar. 

now if i literally need them to translate their ebonics? that is annoying
