I Want To Tape My Birth **Interesing TV Update**

I am expecting my baby in December. This will be our 8th baby, 5th home birth, and planning as our 3rd unassisted birth.

I've been thinking, and I want to record the birth. My 4th baby (1st home birth) my friend took over 300 pictures from start of labor to birth. It was amazing to go back and look at.

I want to be able to do that with this birth. I think I might set up my Flip Cam (the one I got from Cafemom - LOL) on the tripod for it.

**UPDATE**
I got onto my FB group I run, and there was a post from a company in L.A. that is looking for pregnant women who want to be filmed for their home birth television series.

I contacted them, and they said I would be a good fit. However, since I am in Missouri, they have to check with the producer and find out if I would work out due to location.

Yep. This one (I feel is a girl) will have 4 older sisters and 3 big brothers.

Go for it :)

I am just curious, because I know the risk associated with birth increases the more babies you have..If you are going unassisted what are your back up plans? Are you close to a hospital incase of complications?

BTW, I completely support home births...going unassisted would make me uneasy though... Anyways, all the more power to you Mama :)

I ended up going to a hospital for my son's birth but my midwife attended the birth and got some very detailed photos of my son coming out..0.o

They are amazing though, to say the least.

I think its a good idea. My sisinlaw did it and she doent regret it. She gets to watch her baby being born whenever she want to.

We're not far from our local hospital.

I expect the best, but always have preparations for anything unexpected.

From a mother with so many kids, do you feel like the birthing process becomes easier after experiencing it so many times?
