My Dh was in jail for 28 days for contempt of court. He got in an argument with the judge about taking sides before the entire story was out. He called her a bitch and she slapped him with contempt. That was before I met him. He's a great guy though, and it wasn't a felony. Just him being a smartass. Lol.

Please tell me you're not in Cali? My husband collects speeding tickets like stamps no joke they always get paid and we've never fought one becaus yeah he did it lol but not marking them paid sounds risky.

Once, before me. He got a speeding ticket, didn't pay it, then got pulled over going 120 and spent a few days in jail. Long enough to where he "sat it out" and then walked out without fines or anything. I think it was three days.

Thank God he outgrew that shit before I came along.

Jail or prison. There is a difference. Jail is where you go when you first get arrested and there isn't the population you have in prison. Prison is where you serve your time after you get convicted.

Yep. When he was 18 before we met for having a nickel bag on him. He spent 1 night there and that's it. It's not even on his record.

Either or it don't matter and where I live jail is 12months or less and prison is anything over 12 months

Yes

We were together when he went to prison but not when he got into trouble.

Not until he got out of prison did we have a child together

He was in Prison for 4 months.

His 3rd dui. He doesn't drink anymore. He hadn't for a yr before we met. He got into a bad accident and didn't get sentenced until after he was healed.

I had a job so I didn't struggle.

Yes I waited for him.
