My brother is bipolor and I have major depress physcios, anxiety and ptsd

My sister is schizophrenic and has other health problems. She lives with my parents and probably will for the rest of their lives. It is hard on them but they have all adjusted well.

Ya pretty much all of my family do. They cope by drinking and getting high.

Yep and they are nuts because they won't get help they call me the crazy one.

My sister has been diagnosed with so many things ive lost count. I have an aunt on my moms and 1 on my dads who are mentally ill.

My aunt on my moms side i havent seen in years, the aunt on my dads side i avoid as much as possible. My sister lives in a facility and probably will forever.

I have an severe anxiety disorder.

I suffer with Bi polar, PTSD and major anxiety. My dh is awesome with me, he is so supportive. DS just thinks mommy cries sometimes. I go to counseling weekly and also to a psychiatrist for my meds.

Almost everyone in my family (especially mother's side) have some form of mental illness.  

Some of them cope by taking lots of medications (like my mother, and had have a hard time losing weight 'cause of them), others (like some of her cousins) have some form of drug abuse or addiction (from alcohol or tobacco to prescribed drugs), or can't stay on track with their daily lives (my brother Edward has been in three different universities and can't deal with people due to severe schizophrenia).

My parents are both manics and I have schizophrenia

I keep to myself. That's how I cope.

My aunt and grandma are schizophrenic. Most of my family has restraining orders against my aunt. My grandma didn't start to show signs ntil she was in her 50's. I just take things one day at a time with her
