Why is your kid playing outside at 1am???

So I just walked in my bedroom and heard the kid next door outside playing on one of those kid cars that you can drive around. He's about 2 years old and I know his parents are always up all night but I didn't relize he was too. WTH? I get being up because you work third shift but a third shift lifestyle for the whole family??? To each their own and I guess there's no harm in it, just never seen it done before with a child so young!

What are your thoughts on this?

I don't care. A friend of mine used to keep her kid up until 4-5 in the morning at that age. He adjusted fine to a regular schedule

My sis works 3d shift in a sleep lab, her 3yro is having a horrible time adjusting to regular hrs for preschool.

 Some kids are night owls and are up that late. As long as they are not in school and are getting the right amount of sleep then there isn't any real harm.

My son has been a night owl for a long time.
