Probably gonna end up long but you might get some amusement at my shitty day..may make your bad day seem like a breeze!! lol (thanks in advance to those that actually finish reading!)
I had such a horrible day today and I'm pissed at myself for throwing an adult tantrum in front of my kids..
Day started out well. Had to make an hour long drive to my OB's office to sign some paperwork. Then I took my 3 kids and my mom to IKEA. My oldest got to play in their daycare place so she was beyond thrilled to go play while mommy and grandma shopped. Went out to lunch..
Then I had to go do medical pre-testing for my surgery but when I got there, I wasn't even in their system. They called the surgeon's office where the receptionist (the one I spoke to in order to schedule this appt) told them that I was supposed to be at the hospital up north. (same name just different location) So I'm pissed that I was on time and now had to drive an hour BACK to where my OB's office was (an hour away).
I called that hospital to see if they would still do the pre-testing today even tho I was going to be incredibly late, explained the situation. They were appalled I was turned away from the original hospital. I guess that's where ALL pre-test patients go. So they said they were reporting the woman who turned me away and for me to just go back to their hospital (the one by my OB) Monday morning.
I'm on my way home (another 45 min drive with 3 kids!) and this woman from some medical center calls and asks if I'm still coming to my appt. WHAT?!? I come to find out that the surgeon receptionist told me the WRONG FUCKING HOSPITAL! So out of 3 hospitals...she decided to TELL me to go to the one closest to me but SCHEDULED me at the one an hour away when in reality, the hospital where my surgery will be....is the absolute farthest away from home...
Got that all straightened out and I'm sitting in rush hour traffic with 3 cranky kids and my youngest (6 weeks) starts crying, my oldest (5) tries to use her finger (like mommy does) to get her to calm down but she didn't realize she shoved her WHOLE finger down the baby's throat and was gagging her...So I pulled over to the side of the road and was helping my youngest and wiping the vomit off my oldest..
We FINALLY get home, I go to change DD2's diaper and didn't realize she had some tiny turds stuck on her butt so I run to go get some wipes (she usually stays put if her diaper is undone) well in the 5 seconds it took me to get to her room and get the wipes, DD stood up and started peeing. Not a big deal, it's just pee and it's easy to clean. Then she turns around, looks at me funny and DROPS A HUGE LOAD OF DIARRHEA!!
My mom (who's visiting) ran to the store for 15 minutes and in that time, DD2 (same one who pooped) grabbed my can of Pepsi off the dining room table and dumped it all over my bed and my pillows and it soaked to the mattress.
Ugh, I can't seem to win today!! I know it ended up long, sorry but thanks to those who "heard" me out! I just needed to vent. I've been pretty insane the past few hours from all this irritation. Not to mention I was driving back and forth from hospital to hospital wasting gas lol
Damn, I didn't realize how long this post really was!! lol
Lol If my mom wasn't visiting I honestly think I would be rocking in a corner somewhere crying! DH doesn't come home until next weekend so I would have no one here to help out
Once the kids are in bed, mommy is treating herself to a nice shower and a movie lol

I actually went with one of the girls because of men problems.
