The only PA haters are those who have never struggled.
That just what I've noticed. Most of the PA haters fit in to on of 4 categories.
-The ones slightly jealous because they don't qualify but still have to struggle to get by or go without while those on PA get to have a little bit more wiggle room.
-The ones who have never struggled.
-The ones who have struggled/been in a tough spot but where able to quickly climb out and now expect everyone to have the same fortune.
-Those who can't seem to find a latter to climb off the high horse the silver spoon in their mouth has given them.
Sure there are leeches, but there are leeches in every organization/program. I'm sure you have a couple of leeches/lazy asses in your family, but does that mean we should judge the whole of your family by the actions of a few?
Some of you are so self righteous. You don't have a better self worth than that woman in front of you using FS to pay for the food her children need. Some of you claim you would never use FS but I'm sure if that was your only option you would never allow your children to starve. If you do, I have no problem with bashing the hell out of you. there are only so many odd jobs available, not everyone has the luxury of being able to/ have the skills to work a gainfully employable career.
That woman at McDonald's who serves your feed (yes I meant feed, because some of you act like animals) doesn't make enough for her whole family. So you can either start a boycott until her wages is increased enough for her to no longer need PA or shut the hell up and get off your high horse and realize some people need help!
*If you read my post and there are mistakes in my spelling or grammar please note that I never learned either in school and I am currently learning them now. If you see a mistake POLITELY point it out and I'll be more than happy to correct my mistake. Here's a fun little siggy for your enjoyment. *

Quoting beatlelovermom:
I agree, but I really didn't see anything offensive in the part you quoted.
Quoting xxMocahFrappxx:
Ofcourse u can, noone can take that Right away but its all about How you do it.
I can tell someone off without cursing or name calling.
Getting your point across can be done effectively without using "offensive terms"
Quoting beatlelovermom:
So we are no longer allowed to stand up for ourselves on CM? Nice.
Quoting xxMocahFrappxx:
Just a heads up, I know someone on CafeMom who got deleted without warning because of name calling and use of offensive language...Just letting u know in case you value your acct...

I never learned grammar, spelling, or phonics. If spell check doesn't correct it and I was already trying to sound it out as best I could, I will not catch it.
Now you can either continue be a dick about it OR you can be nice and politely point my mistakes out so I can go back and correct them and maybe learn how they are really spelled.
Quoting HouseMa:Would you use that common sense to learn how to spell?
Quoting ButterMeUp:And no before you start ASSuming things, like some of you broads always do, I am not on any PA. I just have some common sense and a heart.
So you say....but this is the internet.
I say I'm a movie star...doesn't make it true.
As I said previously, you are a nobody in this world, just like the rest of us.
Quoting Billiebeth:No. I would never be on PA. I have said that before.
I was just saying I like silver spoons but not McDonald's.
Quoting Anonymous:OMG you are probably on PA as well and you just like to bash others. Get over yourself, you are a nobody like the rest of us.
Quoting Billiebeth:I would never go to McDonald's.
And silver spoons and forks are really pretty. Especially if you don't have to polish them.
Mostly I just wanted to comment and say that I love that you are open about your "faults" (for lack of a better word) in writing. That takes courage. I've always thought admitting our faults is the smarter route in life, but most people are too proud to do that. So good for you. ;)

Keep thinking that. I am sure it makes you feel better. And sometimes internet bravado is all someone has when they don't like how their life is.

I'm not going to assume to know every human being's financial status, that would be a really really stupid thing to do. There are a million different scenarios that could be happening in someone's life right now, every needy family is receiving something different. Some only get FS, some only us gov insurance, there are just too many possibilities and I'm not willing to go through them all.
Quoting Tea4Tas:
Really? so the Moms on here, who stay at home-and get $800 a month in food stamps and another $5K in EIC are getting nothing-add in medical insurance -and you have $23,600 in benefits.
Hell just the medical insurance is worth about 9 K per year. That is MY cost thru my employer.....with my co-pays.
For some the positive choice is also imposible to make. You have to realize some people have been predisposed to negative mindsets and defeatist attitudes. Their parents lived that way, everyone around them lived that way, so now they feel that's the only way. Education is typically only important to you if you grow up in an educated family. There are some who can self motivate but many will be taken over by their predispositions.
The mind can be both a great and a terrible thing.
Bashing is not the way to end the disposition, educating them on the REAL options and helping them create goals with motivation is the key.
Quoting Tea4Tas:not everyone has the luxury of being able to/ have the skills to work a gainfully employable career.
Oh so I was born with a PHD? Skills are learned, taught or aquired. Now if you pop out kids you can not afford at a young age before you aquire those skills, it does become almost impossible to get them-but THAT is also a choice isn't it?
ForMinimum wages jobs were never iNTENDED to support a family. They are for beginners in the workforce, and for EXTRA income. NOT to support a family. To support a family it is necessary to have skills, a trade a degree or SOMETHING that will allow you to earn enough.
Life is about chopices, and it is the height of folly to have kids when you DO NOT have the skills, trade or education to support them. And guess what, SEX is not more important than the welfare of your children!
So when you decide you MUST get laid-even though you could NOT support kids by yourself-then you are deciding getting laid is more important than the welfare of your as yet unborn children.
And yes shit CAN happen. But it is a good deal less likely to happen if you have skills, a trade or an education-backed up by suitable disability AND life insurance.
