mil wants to be in the delivery room

My mil, aunt in law, fil, have all insisted to watch me give birth. I've told them all no but mil is still insisting and says she will just show up and lie and harrass the nurses until they let her in. She says she wants to hold my twins before me. Her sister is an amatuer photographer and they say they want to take photos of me for Facebook. I've told them I don't want anyone taking photos of me right after birth because I have seen photos of new moms on Facebook still drugged out, exhausted and dirty and I don't want those photos to be on Facebook. If we want those photos, I only want us to be the only ones with a copy. Not bashing labor photography on Facebook, its just not for me. My mil has gone as far as threatening to kidnap the twins and my fil keeps asking me about breastfeeding. My aunt in law is the worse. She is a 40 year old virgin (I don't think she's even ever had a date or a kiss!) Who keeps giving me marriage, sex, parenting advice and childbirth advice. What the hell? She does work with kids as a min wage aide at the after school program but I'm a teacher with a masters degree!
Sorry, just had to rant. Sorry about typos, new cell phone

Nurses, in my experience, are very good at handling harrassment from people like your mil. Mine tried to pull that crap, so we just didn't tell her when I was having dd so she didn't even make it to the hospital. As for the pictures, I feel ya! I have maybe 3 right after the kids were born that have me in them and they made it nowhere near fb!

Can we request the nurses check id? She's said she would lie. My mom wants to be there during the beginning, non pushy parts but when shit gets serious, I want her out

Tell them all now they are not allowed to show up until called. If they do they will not be seeing the babies for a week. Nip this shit in the bud now.

you better register as a private patient and not tell anyone when you go into labor. is your husband backing you up on this? you're in for a total shit storm after these babies arrive, start marriage counseling NOW because you will be accused of ripping "their family" apart and not allowing. his mooooommmmmmmmmy to bond with her graaaaaandbaaaaaaabies. he needs to be prepared to stand by your side 110%. my DH and I went through something similar and I shut that shit down ASAP.

I'd tell the cops about her threatening to steal your kids and get a restraining order on her ass so she can't come near you or your family.Your husband needs to step up and let them know if they don't stop that shit they will no longer be apart of your lives.
